What We Collect

Explore Singapore is designed with privacy in mind. We do not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or share any personal information to use our service.

The only data stored is kept locally in your browser via Local Storage. This includes:

• Your saved itineraries and trip plans
• Places you have bookmarked or added to your planner
• Your preference settings (e.g., theme, display options)

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share it. We do not transmit, sell, or share your locally stored data with any third party.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand general usage patterns, such as which pages are visited and how the application is used. These analytics do not collect personally identifiable information and do not use cookies for tracking purposes.

We do not build user profiles, track you across websites, or sell data to advertisers.

Cookies

Explore Singapore does not set any tracking cookies. We may use essential cookies strictly necessary for the functioning of the service (such as remembering UI state). These cookies contain no personal data and are not shared with third parties.

Third-Party Services

Our application integrates with the following third-party services:

• Supabase — Used as our backend infrastructure for serving place data and powering the AI trip planner. Supabase processes requests on our behalf but does not receive personally identifiable information from users. Their privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.
• Google Maps — When you export or download a trip itinerary as a PDF, the document may include links to Google Maps for navigation purposes. Clicking these links will take you to Google Maps, which is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

We carefully select third-party services and only integrate with those that maintain strong privacy and security standards.

Data Retention

Since your data is stored locally in your browser, you have full control over its retention. You can clear your data at any time by:

• Clearing your browser's local storage for our domain
• Using your browser's "Clear site data" functionality
• Using any in-app reset or clear options we provide

We do not retain any personal data on our servers. Anonymised, aggregated analytics data (if collected) may be retained for up to 12 months to help us improve the service.
